MiSTer Main v0.30 – Physical CD Support

By popular request, physical discs now load automatically when launching a supported system through its included MGL file.

Supported Systems

  • PlayStation
  • Mega CD
  • TurboGrafx-16 CD / PC Engine CD
  • Sega Saturn
  • Philips CD-i
  • More systems coming soon

Changes

  • Added automatic physical-disc launching through MGL files
  • PlayStation, Mega CD, TurboGrafx-16 CD and Sega Saturn now use their official stable cores
  • Separate physical-disc core forks are no longer required for these systems
  • Philips CD-i remains the exception because its stable core does not work correctly with physical discs
  • The previously created experimental CD-i fork is included for physical-disc support

Installation

Extract the ZIP file to the root of your MiSTer SD card.

Add the following to MiSTer.ini:
