What’s new

  • Maximum-quality downloads for eligible HTTPS direct progressive sources, including while Auto playback is active
  • A Download glyph inside player settings and a first-save Android picker for a user-approved public Downloads folder
  • Clear streaming-only guard for HLS/DASH, embedded, protected, unavailable, and non-HTTPS sources
  • Native AniList and MyAnimeList Settings cards with real provider marks, protected browser linking, status refresh, import, export, and disconnect actions
  • Connected providers receive meaningful playback-progress and rating-summary updates through the established Aniraku sync service
  • Provider credentials and OAuth tokens remain server-side; none are bundled into the APK

Search reliability retained from v2.2

  • Debounced search input, request coalescing, short-lived local cache, and Retry-After-aware 429 recovery

  • Native direct-first recovery: direct source → Aniraku proxy → verified embed fallback
  • In-player quality selector, language/provider controls, manual skip overlays, Auto Next, Auto Skip, speed, fullscreen, and 45-second forward preload

If you are upgrading from v1.x under aniraku.anine.app, uninstall that legacy package first. Android treats aniraku.anime.app as a separate application.
