I have divided my project into 2 parts:
Frontend which deals with view pages
Backend which deals with the databases.
Details of the above parts will be discussed in later pages.
To make the entire application to work together, both the parts need to be integrated. But before integration, we must ensure that the backend works according to our need since we have written our business logic in that.
Hence I have used JUnit test cases to test each module of the backend.
It is an open-source testing framework for java programmers.
To perform unit testing, I have created certain test cases. The unit test case is a code which ensures that the program logic works as expected.
##Version
junit 4
##Package
org.junit
##Jar files
junit4.jar
##Alternatives
1.SureAssert
SureAssert has an annotation based mechanism for writing tests. This makes it easy to write the tests, and an Eclipse plug-in means that your incremental builds are incrementally tested.
2.Selenium
Selenium is a top-down browsers plug in and framework that allows you to record a set of macro-like actions within a browser along with a set of assertions on those actions.
