We are proud to present AutoAD Suite v2.2, bringing powerful local artificial intelligence directly into your media production environment, alongside major workflow refinements.

In this version, we focus on local automation, hardware compatibility safety, and a cleaner user interface to maximize your productivity.

Brand New Module: Batch Transcriber (Faster-Whisper)

A highly anticipated tool designed to transcribe multiple video or audio files locally and consolidate all texts sequentially into a single consolidated output file. Perfect for generating clean datasets or importing into LLMs without hitting token limits (e.g., NotebookLM).

  • Adaptive Hardware Allocation: Uses a 3-layer dynamic detection algorithm:
    • Pascal GPUs and newer (Capability ≥ 6.0): Runs on CUDA with int8_float16 for blazing-fast transcription.
    • Maxwell/Kepler GPUs (Capability 5.x, e.g., GTX 970): Automatically drops down to float32 precision to avoid CUDA runtime crashes.
    • Older GPUs & Office Laptops: Gracefully falls back to CPU execution with optimized int8 quantization.
  • Manual Overrides: Full manual control over Device (Auto, CUDA, CPU) and Compute Type (Auto, int8_float16, float32, int8) inside the Settings pane.

Refined User Experience & Unified completion UI

  • Unified Completion Popups: Removed the repetitive "Open folder when done" checkboxes from individual views. Completed operations now present a global, elegant, and localized popup showing output paths with quick "Open Folder" / "Close" action buttons.
  • Render Encoder Auto-detection: Added a new ⚡ Auto-detect button in Settings > Rendering. The application now probes FFmpeg dynamically to recommend the best hardware-accelerated encoder (NVENC, AMF, QSV) for your system.
  • Better System Diagnostics: The About section now fetches and displays real library versions (e.g., faster-whisper, ctranslate2, customtkinter) using direct runtime inspection.
  • Visual Polish: Corrected the Settings popup's top-left icon to match the main application’s branding.

Under-the-Hood Fixes

  • Fixed an audio tools bug where redundant video encoder configurations conflicted with the -c:v copy command.
  • Cleaned redundant source code comments and translated the remaining hardcoded strings to ensure full English and Portuguese localization.

Installation & Download

Download the standalone .exe below to get started immediately. FFmpeg is natively bundled within the portable executable, requiring no manual path configurations. Simply extract, run, and automate!
