• Coming from Claude Code or Codex: when a session in this directory was active within the last 4 hours, startup offers to pick it up. /resume-claude and /resume-codex are bundled skills that locate the foreign transcript, read it as data, and reconstruct task, progress, and next step before confirming with you. The hint appears once per project and never in headless runs.
• /import-claude copies Claude Code's project memory for this directory into Ante's project memory. Existing Ante files are never overwritten, and re-running is a clean no-op.
• settings.json accepts system_prompt, append_system_prompt, and tools as fresh-session defaults, plus auto_memory, skills, and session_save with matching CLI overrides. Explicit CLI flags and wire values stay authoritative, and persisted custom prompt text is redacted from ante rage bundles.
