Crafting

All recipes are made at the crafting table. Unless stated otherwise, shaped recipes require the layout shown; shapeless ones accept any arrangement.

The Base piece

Most track signals are crafted from the Base block: iron bars over grey concrete (or its powder), one above the other.

[ Iron bars ]
[ Grey concrete ] → 1 Base

Grey concrete can be replaced by grey concrete powder.

Track signals (Base + dyes system)

Track signals use the central column for Base blocks and the top row for dyes:

  • Full version — 2 Base blocks in the central column.
  • Short version — 1 Base block in the central column.
  • Dyes always go in the top row.
  • Each recipe yields 2 signals.
Full: Short:
[D] [D] [D] [D] [D] [D]
    [Base] [Base]
    [Base]

Dye layout in the top row per signal:

Signal Left Centre Right
Speed White White White
LTV Yellow Yellow Yellow
Warning sign White
End of LTV Yellow
Halt White Grey White
Whistle Grey White Grey
Immediate stop White Red White

Example — Speed signal (full): three white dyes and two Base blocks → 2 signals.

[White] [White] [White]
        [Base]
        [Base]

Example — Warning sign (short): one white dye and one Base → 2 signals.

1:1 conversions (no material cost)

The following pairs convert into each other through shapeless recipes that consume no extra materials:

  • Each logo ↔ its one-sided variant.
  • Sliding train door (opens forwards) ↔ sliding train door (opens backwards).
