  • Bear image attributes Apply safe JSON metadata while preserving its comment.
  • Reference metadata Apply attributes to every matching image.
  • Per-image reference attributes Override shared metadata on one image.

Fixed

  • Bear image metadata parser releases prior results when an output struct is reused, so early parse failures no longer leak or retain stale attributes
  • Bear image attributes no longer apply in Kramdown, which only enters the image preprocessor for URL encoding.
  • Reference metadata only applies when the Bear comment directly follows the definition URL, title, or attributes.
  • Definition comments keep their original line ending so following blocks are not glued to the comment.
  • Bear titles override quoted definition titles instead of being shadowed.
