v4.4.2
ExtraDock 4.4.2
What's New
- Liquid Glass docks: On macOS 26 and later, any dock can use a Liquid Glass background in Clear or Frosted style, drawn with the same glass as the macOS Dock. It looks the same whichever app is in front.
- Hide on Window Hover: A new per-dock option fades the dock out when another app's window overlaps it and fades it back in once the area is clear. While it's hidden, clicks go straight through to the window underneath.
- Configure ExtraDock with an AI assistant: Settings → Integrations → AI Assistants lets assistants like Claude Code or Codex inspect and arrange your docks, items and widgets. Install the bundled ExtraDock Assistant skill with one click.
- You stay in control: Deleting docks or items asks for your approval first. Allow for This Session approves the rest of that assistant's changes until it disconnects, and YOLO mode (off by default) skips the prompts entirely.
- Integrations library: ExtraDock, ExtraBar and DockFlow now find each other automatically under Settings → Integrations → Talk Integrations, with no pairing codes. Approve a connection once and it reconnects on its own after restarts.
- Apps with access: See every connected app, change what it's allowed to do, or remove its access at any time.
Requires macOS 12.4 or later (Liquid Glass needs macOS 26).
