First release of Reaper: a macOS menu bar app that finds the processes your coding agents leave behind, and kills them in one click.

Highlights

  • Lists processes started by Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, OpenCode and T3 Code, grouped by agent with each agent's own app icon
  • Shows the command, listening ports (click to open), working directory, PID and uptime
  • 👻 Ghost detection: processes whose agent session has ended, shown first
  • All / 👻 Ghosts filter and a Listening only toggle
  • Kill a whole process tree (SIGTERM, with Force for SIGKILL), or individual subprocesses
  • Native libproc scanning, no network access, and only a fixed list of agent marker environment variables is read

Install

Download Reaper-0.1.0.zip, unzip it and move Reaper.app to /Applications.
Universal (Apple silicon and Intel), Developer ID signed and notarized. Requires macOS 14 or later.
