Install OpenLogi, go to "Pointer" tab, select "Ratchet", then set "Permanent ratchet" to "On". You might want to also set "Wheel Resolution" to "Standard". Should work for both Bluetooth and Bolt connections. But, you have to configure both connections separately. This is the reason I sought out and found OpenLogi today. This solution works for me and solves a years long problem I had with my mouse constantly freezing. It seems like when you fast scroll, the auto-change from ratchet to free spin causes a huge amount of events to be sent to the system. The system does not handle them properly and, in the process, loses the connection. I document it here to help others and make the solution more discoverable. |
