v1.0.3
What's new
- .NET picks the SDK the way
dotnetdoes. A project'sglobal.jsonis now read with itsrollForwardandallowPrereleaserules, so Stackyard shows the same SDK thatdotnet buildwould use. Projects without aglobal.jsonuse the newest installed SDK. The rules were checked against the realdotnetcommand.

| System | File | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Windows 10 / 11 | Stackyard-Setup-1.0.3.exe |
Installs for your user only, no administrator prompt. The installer isn't code-signed yet, so SmartScreen may warn: choose More info → Run anyway. |
| macOS 12 or later | Stackyard-1.0.3.dmg |
Signed with a Developer ID and notarized by Apple. Open it and drag Stackyard to Applications. |
Stackyard is free and open source (MIT). If it saved you some disk space, you can buy me a coffee.
v1.0.2
What's new
- Glass on Windows 11 shows the desktop through. The window now uses acrylic, so the Glass slider visibly changes how much of your desktop shows behind the sidebar and content. Early Windows 11 builds keep Mica; Windows 10 stays solid and hides the option.
- Simulator dialogs say Erase and Delete instead of generic labels.
Fixes
- A Cancel that arrives after an install already finished no longer deletes the install.
- Bulk clean-up runs each item's own plan, with its warnings, delete label and environment clean-up.
- Simulator runtimes you used recently aren't offered as clean-up.
- Settings are saved one at a time through a temporary file, and an unreadable settings file no longer sends you back through onboarding.
- Onboarding on Windows has minimize, maximize and close buttons, and a failed folder search still shows "Add folder…".
- macOS: the window no longer waits for the notification prompt, and a failed notification never breaks background mode.
- Shell profile edits escape backticks, and the Finder fallback escapes backslashes.
- "OneDrive - " folders are skipped when looking for projects.

v1.0.1
The first public release of Stackyard: one app that shows every SDK, toolchain and framework version on your computer, which projects use each one, and what's safe to remove.
What's in it
- Detects Flutter (FVM), Node.js (nvm, fnm, Volta), the Android SDK with NDKs, system images and emulators, Xcode simulators and runtimes, Gradle, Java, Python and .NET, plus React, Next.js, Vue, Angular and other frameworks in your projects.
- Knows who uses what by reading
.fvmrc,.nvmrc,package.json, Gradle files,.python-version,global.jsonand more. - Problems come with a fix button: missing pinned versions, broken
JAVA_HOME/ANDROID_HOME, dead and duplicate PATH entries. - Frees disk space: unused SDKs, old emulators and simulators, and rebuildable project folders like
node_modules,buildand.gradle. - Get tools: install SDKs and CLIs from the publisher's own release feed, checked against the published hash.
- Safe by default: every change is shown before it runs, and removals go to the Recycle Bin / Trash.
