Screen-reader accessibility mod for Persona 4 Golden (Reloaded II). Speaks the game through NVDA / SAPI and adds blind-playable dungeon + overworld navigation.

What's new in 1.1.0

  • Focus gate (no shortcuts/sounds while alt-tabbed), full controller support, and "Dojima" reads correctly at game start.
  • Speech history (Shift+[ / Shift+] / Shift+P) and a dialogue auto-read toggle (Shift+M).
  • Rebuilt compass-based dungeon navigation — stairs auto-walk that opens doors on the way, an H mapping cursor with walk/look modes, and an "event door" marker for the first dungeon's 5F.
  • Rebuilt overworld navigation — smoother school walking, a self-learning interaction-spot system, and fixed Japanese interactable names.

Install

Download the zip below, extract it, and follow README.md. Recommended: create a desktop shortcut via Reloaded II's "Create Shortcut" and launch the game from that (more reliable than launching from Steam).

Requires NVDA (or a SAPI voice) and Reloaded II. All dependency mods are bundled in the zip.
