v1.3.0
Release Notes: Version 1.3.0
I am excited to announce a significant update to the CheatToolUI, bringing powerful new capabilities for Nintendo Switch modding!
What's New:
Switch CodeType 0 (Store Static) ASM Injection
This release introduces the ability to inject custom Assembly (ASM) opcodes directly to your Nintendo Switch, specifically supporting Opcode 0: Store Static. This enables direct memory modification, allowing you to "poke" values into the game's memory. This is a powerful feature for applying cheats and patches.
Support for 32-bit (DWORD) and 64-bit (QWORD) Writes: The injection now intelligently handles both 32-bit and 64-bit values, allowing for more versatile memory modifications.
Enhanced Opcode Information with JSON Configuration
To make understanding and using opcodes easier, we've implemented a new JSON-based configuration for VM (Virtual Machine) opcodes. This means you'll now find detailed information within the application regarding:
Each opcode's purpose.
Its correct syntax for input.
Practical example usage to help you get started quickly.
This feature is designed to be extensible, allowing for future additions of more opcode types with clear documentation.
Important Note for Users:
To utilize the new ASM injection feature, your Nintendo Switch console must be running sys-botbase. sys-botbase is a sys module application that enables remote control and memory access to your Switch.
You can find a link to the sys-botbase releases within the CheatToolUI application itself for easy access to installation instructions and files. Also you must hold L when booting game for this connection to work.
I hope these new features significantly enhance your modding experience!
