First stable release. ProgressBeam is the independent continuation of the NProgress browser utility, with a new package identity and modernized distribution and browser behavior.

Highlights

  • Core progress API: start, set, inc, dec, done, fail, cancel, pause, resume, reset, promise, configure, on/off
  • Accessible progressbar semantics, labeled status, reduced-motion support, theming, RTL, indeterminate mode, delayed display, and placement options
  • Zero-dependency adapters for fetch tracking, router guards, React, Next.js App Router, Vue, and TanStack Router
  • ESM, CommonJS, and direct-browser builds with TypeScript declarations
  • Enforced size budgets and Playwright verification across Chromium, Firefox, and WebKit
  • Demo site with a live panel, README GIFs, and CSP/SSR documentation
