How to Use the Test Runner

Creating Your First Test

1. Navigate to the Editor Tab:

   • This is where you define your tests.

2. Specify the Function to Test:

   • Enter the name of the function you want to test in the Function to test box.

3. Add a Test:

   • Expected Output: Define what the correct output should be. Specify the type unless it’s any, which allows flexibility in matching types.
   • Parameters: Enter the input that will be passed to the function. Match the types unless set to any, where it attempts to infer.
   • Error Handling: If the test expects an error, set the expected output type to error. The test will pass if the function raises an error.

Running Tests

1. Navigate to the Tests Tab:

   • This is where you can add your test scripts.

2. Run Your Tests:

   • Press the Run Tests button to execute your test scripts.

3. View the Results:

   • A results panel will display the score of each file tested. Use the 🔽 button to expand and view detailed results for each script.
