Recent Blocker Feature

  • Real-time Recent blocking — FileSystemWatcher instantly intercepts and deletes .lnk shortcuts from blocked directories
  • Jump list purging — Deletes Explorer AutomaticDestinations files so items actually disappear from Recent view
  • Shell notification — SHChangeNotify forces Explorer to refresh immediately
  • Periodic cleanup — Background timer every 3 seconds catches any race conditions
  • Windows Scheduled Task — Block directories even when PlatypusTools is closed
  • In-app scheduled cleanup — Via AppTaskSchedulerService for flexible scheduling
  • Multi-directory ListBox UI — Target Directories and Exclusion Directories now use ListBox with Add/Remove buttons for easier management
