Important

This update introduces a seamless in-app updater! If you are updating from an earlier build, install this .apk normally—your local data (Waveplates, Argstrites, logs, purchases) will remain fully preserved.

  • In-App Auto Updater: WuWaLab now automatically checks GitHub for newer releases and lets you download and install updates directly within the app without fetching APKs manually from a browser.
  • Android 8.0+ Permission Support: Automatically routes you to the exact system settings screen to grant install permissions (REQUEST_INSTALL_PACKAGES) if needed.
  • Multiple quality of life and app performance update.

Minimum Requirements

  • OS: Android 11 or higher (minSdk 30, targetSdk 37)
  • Platform: Android only—no iOS version exists or is planned
  • Storage: At least 50MB of free space
  • Permissions: Optional based on feature usage (Overlay, Notifications, Install Unknown Apps)—see the README for details.

Installation

  1. Download the WuWaLab_v1_0_8.apk below.
  2. Allow installs from unknown sources if prompted by Android.
  3. Tap the APK to install, open the app, and enjoy automatic future updates!
