Grapnel

1.0.1

  • Fixed: breaking the bitten hook handed out a free rope coupling every time,
so firing and breaking on repeat printed items. The launcher spins its own
rope and never spends a coupling, so it now takes the rope down itself the
moment the hook goes — before the rope system can refund one. Thanks for the
    report!

Grapnel

1.0.0

First release.

  • Grapnel Launcher: a deck-mounted machine that fires a boarding hook on a
rope. Aims on Create rotation, fires on redstone, winches on rotation —
every input is a machine input, so the whole cycle can be automated.
  • The rope is Create: Aeronautics' own rope, physics and all: it sags, drags
both ships around, survives a save and reload, and never snaps from tension
(an overstretched winch just refuses to reel in).
  • The hook arcs out about 100–160 blocks and bites into whatever it hits,
whether that is another ship's hull or the world.
  • Colour-keyed sockets: blue turns the turret, red raises the barrel, green
runs the winch. Redstone connects on the front face only.
  • In-game guide on the ponder key, in English and Russian.
