Full Changelog: v0.4.0...v0.5.0
ThreadPort v0.4.0
ThreadPort 0.4.0 adds a verifiable handoff workflow for development sessions.
Highlights
- Run project verification commands with
threadport verify. Results are stored with a Git fingerprint, so a later code change marks the evidence as stale. - Draft, save, and inspect handoffs with
threadport handoff draft, threadport handoff save, andthreadport handoff show. Saved handoffs must match the current Git fingerprint. - Link GitHub issues and pull requests to a session with
threadport link issueandthreadport link pr. - Review local privacy findings with
threadport privacy audit, which reports counts without revealing candidate secrets. - Use the same workflow through the CLI, TUI, HTTP API, and MCP. The CLI now gives more useful next steps and agent setup guidance.
- Session archives use format version 2, while import remains compatible with version 1.
Install with npm install -g threadport@0.4.0. See the README for examples and configuration.
Validation: TypeScript check, 22 tests, build, and npm package check passed. CI passed on Linux, macOS, and Windows.
ThreadPort v0.3.4
ThreadPort 0.3.4 improves continuity between AI coding sessions and gives you more control over stored project context.
Highlights
- Optional project-local Claude Code and Codex hooks inject the active context at session start, record allowed file edit metadata, and summarize work at session end.
- Finish, rename, and delete sessions; edit and delete records from the CLI, API, and terminal menu. MCP adds a context resource and a continuation prompt.
- Context packs prioritize open tasks and errors, fit individual items within the token budget, and flag summaries that may be stale.
- New privacy scrub cleans existing local records and search data; imports and exports apply current path exclusions and secret redaction.
- CI now checks Linux, macOS, and Windows.
Install or update with npm install -g threadport@0.3.4. See the README for the hook setup and privacy commands.
