Release list
BilisPDF v0.4.0 - unsigned preview
BilisPDF 0.4.0 — unsigned preview
EasyPDF is now BilisPDF. The repository was renamed without losing its history.
What changed
- BilisPDF branding across the desktop app, Explorer submenu, shortcuts, CLI, installer, executable metadata, and documentation.
- The Windows 11 submenu appears alongside apps such as WinRAR and offers actions for the selected files.
- Refreshed desktop UI with file reordering, relevant page/rotation controls, progress, and useful errors.
- Keeps the existing Windows upgrade identifiers and user settings location so the rename can upgrade the previous installation.
Download
Download BilisPDF-Setup.msi for Windows 10/11 x64. It includes the .NET runtime. Install it to upgrade the previous machine-wide EasyPDF installation. Office conversion requires an existing LibreOffice or Microsoft Office installation.
Signing status
This preview is unsigned. Windows can display Unknown publisher or SmartScreen prompts. Trusted publisher signing is deferred; this is not a Windows-verified release.
The Windows 11 modern context menu requires Developer Mode to already be enabled for this unsigned build. Otherwise the installer provides Show more options → BilisPDF. The installer does not change Windows security settings or the default PDF application.
SHA256SUMS.txt contains the SHA-256 of the installer. A matching checksum confirms file integrity, not publisher identity.
Validation
Release build, 17 .NET tests, native shell checks, signing guard checks, and dependency vulnerability audit passed locally. The desktop branding and Explorer integration were checked on Windows 11. Clean-machine upgrade/uninstall and actual trusted signing remain untested.
BilisPDF processes documents locally. No accounts, telemetry, or cloud uploads. MIT License; created by Arjunren Von.
