First public preview of a review-first request-dialect preflight for custom OpenAI Chat Completions providers in DeepSeek Harness.

What testers can do

• Compare bounded pairs for token field, developer role, store, reasoning effort, and streaming usage options.
• Review the smallest observed Harness compat profile before any settings write.
• Apply the proposal to one selected model and verify it through the real Harness LLM runtime.
• Cancel without writing settings, automatically recover from failed verification, or explicitly roll back a successful change for ten minutes.
• Copy a community report that removes endpoint and model identity, credentials, headers, request text, response bodies, and model output.

Validation completed before release

• 9 automated unit/contract tests.
• npm package dry run.
• Full packaged-plugin lifecycle on DSH 0.1.1-rc.2 and 0.1.2-alpha.4.
• Real Web UI review covering confirmation, proposal, cancellation, apply, verification, success state, and rollback.

Preview caveat
