In this page I will show how to create a distributable format for our project using maven to create a JAR. We need to have maven installed, to accest here to Download

Build Project

we have to open the command promp under our local repo. Then we execute the command: mvn package.This will run every all tests (both integration and the created by the developers) to check if the project is well built, once the test passes a Jar file will be generated.

Skip test

If we want to avoid the test from passing we will add '-DskipTests' for our test and/or '-DskipITs' for integration test. Please notice: this is not recommended to use, but it might be handy in some situations when there is some bugs in test suites or something. References.

Execute the jar

To execute the jar we have to execute in the command promp 'java -jar Loader_i2b-0.0.1-jar-with-dependencies.jar agents.xls agentType.csv mongohost'
