Formula 1 telemetry, analytics and race strategy — rebuilt as a consumer app, Live timing, car telemetry, a fourteen-panel analytics board, a full lap-by-lap race replay engine, and now head-to-head driver comparison.
This release takes F1 Vision from an impressive demo to a shippable product: a second flagship analysis screen, genuine offline support, a navigation drawer, keyboard shortcuts, a Windows installer, and a long tail of polish and bug fixes.
✨ Highlights
- ⚔️ Driver Comparison Studio — put any two drivers head to head across a season or inside a single race. Profile overview, season metric bars, a normalised performance radar, championship progress, lap times, sectors, speed, position changes, tyre strategy, pit stops, and a pace-vs-tyre-age degradation scatter.
- 📴 Offline caching (Isar) — a two-tier memory→disk cache means screens you have already opened keep working with no connection.
- 🧭 Navigation drawer — every destination grouped by section, with a quick Dark / Light / Auto theme switch.
- ⌨️ Keyboard shortcuts in the Replay Studio — space, arrows, R, Home/End, and 1–4 for speed.
- ℹ️ About screen — developer profile, social links, support actions, and
an open-source credits section. - 🖥️ Windows installer — F1 Vision now ships as a proper Windows setup wizard, not just a folder of files.
🐛 Notable fixes
- Windows builds now configure correctly under modern CMake.
- Finish / retirement rate calculations corrected — lapped-but-classified finishers were previously miscounted as retirements.
- Analytics header no longer overflows on phones.
- Mobile navigation now reaches every screen (Comparison, Standings, Telemetry and About were previously unreachable on a phone).

| Platform | Asset | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| 🪟 Windows 10/11 (x64) | F1Vision-1.0.0-windows-x64-setup.exe |
Installer — download, run, follow the wizard |
| 🤖 Android | F1Vision-1.0.0.apk |
Sideload — enable "Install unknown apps" for your browser/file manager first |
⚠️ Both installers are unsigned. Windows SmartScreen may show "Windows
protected your PC" — click More info → Run anyway. Android may warn
that the app is from an unknown source — this is expected for an
independently distributed APK.
⚠️ Known limitations
- Google Sign-In is unavailable on Windows (no plugin support there); email/password works, and the app also runs fully without signing in.
- Live in-session telemetry needs an OpenF1 paid account; otherwise the latest completed session streams as a replay.
- Race replay covers 1996 onward for timing; sector, speed and tyre-compound
detail needs OpenF1, so that part is 2023 onward.
