Quick Colour Edit is now called Gradeplayer: the video player that grades.

New name across the app, menus, help guide and licence agreement. Nothing else about how the app works has changed.
Your saved grades, templates, imported LUTs, favourites and settings carry over unchanged, and future updates arrive as before.
The licence agreement is shown once more on first launch because it now names Gradeplayer. Its terms are otherwise the same.
The LUT library list responds to clicks again.

If you update from inside the app, your copy may keep its old file name in Applications. You can rename it to Gradeplayer in Finder at any time.

Download the zip, unzip it, and move Gradeplayer to Applications, or use Check for Updates in the app.

Quick Colour Edit 0.15.0 improves highlight detail, recovery and accessibility.

Bright source detail is retained through the internal grading pipeline, so reducing exposure can reveal recorded detail that was previously clipped before grading. Preview, scopes, frame export and MP4 export use the same extended source range.
Edits have a separate recovery checkpoint. Valid typed adjustments are protected before Return, and a valid second copy can recover a damaged grade file. Escape cancels a typed adjustment; Return applies it.
LUT library controls expose clear accessibility names, states and actions.

Exports remain simple SDR delivery. ProRes RAW support is unchanged. Detail already clipped in a source file or by an attached LUT cannot be reconstructed. Recovery cannot guarantee the last movement during a crash or recover from disk failure.

Quick Colour Edit 0.14.0 beta

This beta fixes confirmed grading, media, export and editing defects:

Reliable final save on normal quit, visible save failures, and undo steps that follow each edit or drag.
Missing LUT warnings and blocked incomplete exports; referenced LUTs cannot be removed silently.
RAW clip switching and paused first-frame loading; clear errors for native decoder failures.
Correct anamorphic pixel aspect ratio in preview, scopes and exports.
Accurate trim timestamps and duration, plus real video-export progress and cancellation.
Finite extreme grades, bounded curve extrema, and corrected white-balance picking.
Node canvas interaction, compact tool shortcuts, numeric Return, histogram brightness and scope clearing fixes.

Focused regression checks run before the release is signed and notarized. SOURCE_REVISION.txt identifies the source commit; SHA256SUMS verifies the app archive. These are reproducible checks, not certification of every camera or display.

This beta is unrestricted; licensing is not configured. Video output is SDR through an 8-bit render path, including HEVC. ProRes RAW and HDR delivery remain unsupported. Source grading uses a 0…1 LUT domain after data-level correction; published LUT components have a finite ±65,504 limit. Container recognition does not guarantee every codec is supported by macOS.
