Bytezenside is a Windows Smart Sidebar for quick access to applications, files, bookmarks, clipboard history, system performance, and personalization controls.

• Installation

1. Download an installer from the release assets.
2. Run the installer and choose the installation location.
3. Launch Bytezenside from the Start Menu or desktop shortcut.
4. Open Settings to configure startup behavior, appearance, Explorer integration, and data management.

The portable build can be launched directly without installation.

Requirements

• Windows 10 or Windows 11
• 64-bit Windows system
• Google Chrome is required only for Chrome bookmark import

Notes

• The Explorer context-menu option is registered under the current user's Windows registry and does not require administrator access.
• On Windows 11, the Explorer action may appear under Show more options.
• Performance and temperature values depend on the hardware sensors and data available through Windows and the installed system-information providers.

Known Limitations

• This release is Windows-only.
• The Inno Setup package must be compiled with Inno Setup Compiler from installer.iss; Inno Setup is not bundled with the project.
• Some hardware may report unavailable GPU, temperature, disk, or network metrics.
