Initial development release of WP FileShelf.

WP FileShelf provides a lightweight document/file repository outside of the standard WordPress Media Library, with stable public links and easy file replacement.

Included in v0.1.0:

  • File management directory in WordPress admin
  • AJAX search, sorting, pagination, and CRUD actions
  • Admin file uploader
  • Password-protected frontend uploader at /wpfileshelf/
  • Duplicate-file detection and replacement confirmation
  • Replacement files retain the existing filename and public URL
  • Editable display names for easier file identification
  • Configurable public link path, such as /hr-docs/file.pdf
  • Files stored in /wp-fileshelf-uploads/
  • Configurable allowed upload file types
  • PDF uploads enabled by default
  • Optional full data/file cleanup when the plugin is deleted
  • GitHub release-based plugin update support
