PixelPlayerOSS: Navidrome Edition, first release

This is the first release of this unofficial fork of
PixelPlayerOSS, adding
complete two-way Navidrome support on top of
the original app. See the README
for the full story.

What this fork adds

  • Favorites sync (two-way): hearting a song stars it on the server instantly,
with an offline-safe queue. Server-side stars sync down, and the Liked tab
refreshes itself when opened or pulled.
  • Server lyrics: synced lyrics from your Navidrome server, preferred over
third-party sources, stored locally so they work offline.
  • Playlist sync (two-way): renames, adds, removes, and reorders push to the
server and survive offline periods. Server edits sync down. New playlists are
created on the server by default, with a local-only option.
  • Offline downloads: Spotify-style download buttons on playlists, albums,
Liked songs, or everything. Includes lyrics and artwork, quality tiers via
server transcoding, a Wi-Fi-only toggle, and a Downloads & storage screen.

Local playback and Jellyfin behave as in the original app.

Fixed since the internal 0.3.0 builds

  • Downloads can be cancelled mid-download from the download button
  • Starting a download shows the song count and estimated size first
  • Downloaded songs now play offline when tapped directly (previously skipped)
  • Streaming works reliably on the first play after a fresh app start
