MonarchJavaAgent 1.3.RELEASE

Highlights

  • Added optional MLOG(...) macro support inside ADD rules to route custom diagnostic output into Monarch trace logs.
  • Added preflight validation mode (preflight=true) to validate configuration and rules without starting instrumentation/observer components.
  • Added richer rule validation diagnostics with accepted/rejected/skipped summary and per-rule reason/suggestion output.

Runtime And Safety

  • Rejected rules are now reported with diagnostics while agent continues with accepted rules (non-fatal rule validation policy for startup continuity).
  • Preflight runtime attach flow validated, including full re-attach after preflight.

Smoke Coverage

  • Runtime attach smoke now validates both:
    • standard ADD behavior via target process stdout
    • MLOG(...) behavior via Monarch trace output
  • Full smoke suite passed for this release line (startup attach, runtime attach, class replacement).
