Licensing

SmallChat is free software and it is released under Expat License and GNU General Public License version 2 and 3.

You only have to accept and rispect the terms of one of those licenses at your option in order to be allowed to use SmallChat.

Expat License is more free than GPL and it is a non-copyleft free license. Also, it is GPL-compatible, so you can use SmallChat codes in project released under GPL even if you decide to accept the Expat License.

Expat License is also called MIT license.

MIT License is already very permessive, but if, for some reason, you wish to get some extra rights, you shall contact the author of SmallChat.
