v0.6.164

Note

This APK is for new installations and manual updates. If you installed Aster Mail from Google Play, it updates automatically. Both files below are the same signed build: Aster-Mail.apk always points to the newest release, and Aster-Mail-0.6.164-full.apk pins this version. Aster-Mail-fdroid-0.6.164.apk is the build F-Droid distributes.

What's new

• Import and export contacts, add contact photos, and select several contacts at once to move or delete them.
• Settings shows why an auto-forward is not delivering, including a forwarding target that has no encryption key.
• The upgrade screen shows plan prices and lets you switch between monthly and yearly billing.
• Your aliases stay pinned to the top of the address list.
• Guided setup walks you through connecting an external account, and you can disconnect one from the same place.

Fixed

• New mail alerts no longer appear twice, and they no longer split into two separate groups in the notification shade.
• Quiet hours and muted folders now also silence push alerts, and mail in protected folders stays out of alerts.
• Sharing an email address from another app opens the composer with the recipient filled in.
• Your signature sits above the quoted text when you reply or forward.
• Adding a second sign-in factor signs out your other sessions.
• Pasting a two-factor code keeps the most recent digits.
• Contact edits keep work phone numbers, groups, and fields that were added on the web.
