This APK is for new installations and manual updates. If you installed Aster Mail from Google Play, it updates automatically. Aster-Mail.apk and Aster-Mail-0.6.167-full.apk are the same signed build: the first always points to the newest release and the second pins this version. Aster-Mail-fdroid-0.6.167.apk is the build F-Droid distributes.

What's new

• Aliases opens with a create button at the top, a tile for each state showing how many addresses it holds, and a monogram beside every address. Expanding an address now reveals its actions in a strip instead of a menu.

Fixed

• The loading placeholder no longer restarts partway through when your inbox opens. Every placeholder on screen now shares one clock, so the sweep runs once and stays in step across rows.
• Your mail list stays responsive while it loads. The placeholder used to redraw each row on every frame, which competed with decrypting your mail and could leave the app unresponsive for a moment on a slow load. It now animates without redrawing the list.
• Sending works again on accounts that were missing their Sent folder. Accounts created on 0.6.162 or earlier never received their encrypted system folders, and updating in place did not repair them, so every send failed while incoming mail still arrived. Aster Mail now repairs those folders once per launch.
• The send button no longer spins without end when a step in the send path stalls.
