v0.6.172
Note
This APK is for new installations and manual updates. If you installed Aster Mail from Google Play, it updates automatically. Aster-Mail.apk and Aster-Mail-0.6.172-full.apk are the same signed build: the first always points to the newest release and the second pins this version. Aster-Mail-fdroid-0.6.172.apk is the build F-Droid distributes.
What's new
- Recently deleted aliases open on their own screen, from a row on the Aliases screen or from its menu, where you can restore or permanently delete them.
- The Aliases screen shows your matching address on each Aster domain your plan includes, not only one.
- When the server refuses a message, for example because an attachment is too large for your plan, you see the reason.
- Labels and the folder next to a message subject are shorter, so they sit more neatly beside the subject.
Fixed
- Your inbox and other screens no longer keep reloading or showing loading placeholders when the app renews your sign-in in the background.
- A reply you send shows your own text in Sent and in the message list, not the quoted original message.
- A message you send no longer stays in Drafts after it goes out.
- A message that went out no longer reports a failure when its Sent copy is missing attachments. Instead, you see how many attachments could not be saved to Sent.
- A message the server refuses no longer keeps retrying in the background.
- The Aliases screen no longer stays on a loading placeholder when you have no aliases.
- Printing a message works when the app language is set to a language other than English.
- A reply you send no longer leaves a draft marker on the conversation.
- When you search for more mail from a sender, the results include only mail from that exact address, archived mail included.
