This APK is for new installations and manual updates. If you installed Aster Mail from Google Play, it updates automatically. Aster-Mail.apk and Aster-Mail-0.6.173-full.apk are the same signed build: the first always points to the newest release and the second pins this version. Aster-Mail-fdroid-0.6.173.apk is the build F-Droid distributes.

What's new

• You sign out in one tap. Choosing Sign out no longer asks you to confirm.
• If you can't reach your authenticator app, you can enter a backup code at the two-factor authentication prompt.
• Inbox categories use clearer names, and two new categories are available: Newsletters for digests and mailing lists you subscribed to, and Purchases for orders, payments, and receipts. Both are off by default, so to use one, go to Settings > Mail behavior, scroll to Categories, and tap it. Each category explains what it collects.
• In compose, you can show or hide Cc from the header, and pick which of your addresses a message comes from.

Fixed

• The sender picker in compose opens when you tap it, and the address you pick stays selected.
• Checks in Security center open the setting they refer to.
• When domain searches hit a limit, you keep the results you already have and see how long to wait instead of an error.
• A message with a long subject keeps its labels and folder visible beside the subject.
• A message body no longer reloads over and over when the page fails to render.
• Contact and sender initials use the same colors as the web app, so they stay readable in both light and dark appearances.
