v0.6.180

This APK is for new installations and manual updates. If you installed Aster Mail from Google Play, it updates automatically. Aster-Mail.apk and Aster-Mail-0.6.180-full.apk are the same signed build: the first always points to the newest release and the second pins this version. Aster-Mail-fdroid-0.6.180.apk is the build F-Droid distributes.

What's new

• Aster Mail opens straight into your inbox. The loading state now shows the sender, subject, date, and preview of your most recent messages instead of blank placeholders, so the list stops resizing as it fills in.
• A filters button sits next to the menu in the inbox header, with quick actions for archiving read mail and clearing anything older than 30 days. To hide both on this device, go to Settings, then Appearance.
• Opening a contact shows a cleaner page, and the search filters match the rest of the app.
• Exporting your data is centered on the screen while it runs, and choosing a format reads as a single list rather than floating cards.
• Switching to the CDN relay now explains that your connection may be slower because it routes through Cloudflare.

Fixed

• Unread only no longer shows a loading state that never ends, and the list no longer snaps back to the top when you scroll.
• The scroll bar now reaches the bottom of the inbox instead of stopping at the compose button.
• The date stays in place when you expand a message, and the expander for quoted text works again.
• Creating an SMTP token no longer flickers, and a long address stays on one line.
• Sign up continues after you paste a password.
• Order details from a receipt no longer appear inside a plain reply.
• A reaction stays once you add it, the same as on the web.
