v0.6.182

Note

This APK is for new installations and manual updates. If you installed Aster Mail from Google Play, it updates automatically. Aster-Mail.apk and Aster-Mail-0.6.182-full.apk are the same signed build: the first always points to the newest release and the second pins this version. Aster-Mail-fdroid-0.6.182.apk is the build F-Droid distributes.

This release also carries everything from 0.6.181, which was tagged but never published.

What's new

• A message you have opened before appears instantly, with no loading skeleton. Aster Mail keeps the decrypted thread in its encrypted database and paints it before the network answers.
• Email with rich formatting renders faster.
• Pull to refresh has a progress bar that follows your theme, and it stays at the top of the inbox.
• The menu button turns into a back button when you open an email.
• Tapping your plan badge thanks you for your subscription, and the badge matches the web design.

Fixed

• A message no longer keeps extra blank height after you hide the quoted text, and long email no longer cuts off partway through.
• Quick actions, the unread filters, and the thread counter work again.
• Toasts no longer overlap each other or freeze as they fade.
• Buttons in Encryption settings fit their labels, and the connection toast is short enough to read.
• The inbox skeleton matches the real message rows and sits in the right place.
• Selecting text inside a message works, including inline images you paste.
