Note

This APK is for new installations and manual updates. If you installed Aster Mail from Google Play, it updates automatically. Aster-Mail.apk and Aster-Mail-0.6.188-full.apk are the same signed build: the first always points to the newest release and the second pins this version. Aster-Mail-fdroid-0.6.188.apk is the build F-Droid distributes.

What's new

  • Pull to refresh gives one haptic tap and shows a redesigned indicator.

Fixed

  • Long messages load all the way to the end and stay visible while you scroll.
  • When you reply, your signature appears as soon as the reply opens, with one empty line above it for you to type in.
  • The button that shows quoted text uses the same three-dot icon as the rest of the app.
  • Starred includes starred mail you archived, spam no longer appears in other folders, and archived mail stays in Sent.
  • The passkey option appears after you enter your username, and Aster reads the clipboard only when you paste.
  • In sign-up setup, Back returns to the previous step and keeps what you entered, including your display name.
  • Unavailable secondary buttons stay visible instead of fading out.
