Note

This APK is for new installations and manual updates. If you installed Aster Mail from Google Play, it updates automatically. Aster-Mail.apk and Aster-Mail-0.6.193-full.apk are the same signed build: the first always points to the newest release and the second pins this version. Aster-Mail-fdroid-0.6.193.apk is the build F-Droid distributes.

What's new

  • Your inbox opens faster when you start the app, because the app no longer rebuilds its search index on every launch.
  • Encrypted messages open faster after the first one, because the app keeps your unlocked keys ready while it runs.
  • Contact photos that you saved appear as sender avatars in your inbox and in messages.

Fixed

  • New messages and replies leave one blank line between your text and your signature.
