Release list
v0.9.0-beta
First public release of Aggro Royale, a recompilation of Aggressive Inline for the original Xbox, running natively on Windows. Provide your own game files and go!
New levels, for the first time since 2002
Give the setup your own BMX XXX and Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX 2 and it builds a plus version of Aggressive Inline: 18 bonus levels in Free Skate and 38 bonus songs as two extra soundtracks. Either game on its own works too.
The bonus features are a beta. These levels were never designed for Aggressive Inline. They work because the three games share Z-Axis's engine and are fun to skate, but expect rough spots: grinds feel a little different, a few places let you fall out of the level, and there are no challenges or characters on them.
In this release
- Career, challenges and Free Skate, start to finish
- GPU renderer (Direct3D 11) in widescreen, render resolution adjustable while you play
- Optional frame generation up to your display's refresh rate
- Everything unlocked from a fresh save (
unlock_all=0turns it off), saves kept next to the game aggro_setup.exe: sets up the game and the optional extras from your copies (folders or disc images)
How to play
- Unzip
