Your helpers can now work on your Mac, not only on their cloud computer.

  • Ask a helper to create a file or run a command on your Mac ("make helloworld.txt on my Desktop", "how many ports are in use on my Mac?"). It shows you exactly what it will do first.
  • Settings > Devices > Helpers on this Mac: Ask every time (the default), Always allow, or Never. Always allow only covers something you asked for in the last hour, and risky commands (sudo, your Keychain, force pushes, private files) always ask.
  • Helpers stay on their cloud computer and only reach your Mac while Putti is open on it. What a command prints goes straight back to the helper and isn't kept in your chats.
  • One keypress answers one card, and the Computers menu now says what each computer is for.

Needs macOS 13 or later on an Apple Silicon Mac, and a Claude or ChatGPT plan for your helpers to think with.

The first release of Putti for the Mac.

  • Your own helpers, each with its own chat, running on their own cloud computer so they keep working when you close your Mac.
  • Memory that fills itself in as you chat, routines that run on a schedule, and voice (⌥Space).
  • Connectors: link Linear, Notion, GitHub and more once, and every helper can use them. Anything that changes something asks first.
  • Updates arrive by themselves; Putti > Check for Updates… looks right now.
