1.36.0 — VS Code stays responsive, and a menu left open still needs you

@Atoll92 Atoll92 released this 16 Oct 18:44
  • VS Code stays responsive while the call reads a large session: the server runs in a process of its own, started when you open the call (a 100 MB session held every extension for over a second; now a few milliseconds).
  • A menu left open still needs you, and your own dialogs (/model, /config…) no longer do. A menu forgotten for more than half an hour no longer takes the call.
  • A Bash command waiting for your go-ahead says “needs you?”, and the lead shows what the menu asks, word for word, in a card beside the call.
  • Two windows no longer both speak; a window follows its own folder, not the one beside it; fast with hundreds of folders.
  • Windows: translation works again with Claude Code installed through npm.
  • Desktop app on Electron 44 (needs macOS 13 or later).
