1.39.0 — “⚠ gave up?”, the plugin opens the call again, and an opt-in weekly count
“⚠ gave up?” when an agent stops without doing the work. A session whose agent ends its turn saying it could not do what was asked (“I couldn’t verify…”), or on an error, now reads “⚠ gave up?” in amber with its own first sentence, in the header, its tile, its tab and its card, instead of a plain “your turn”. A check that came out clean (“I couldn’t find any bugs”, “I can’t reproduce it: it already works”) still reads as done. An agent that starts waiting on you takes the spotlight as soon as nobody is talking.
The Claude Code plugin opens the call again. The plugin’s open skill passed a flag the version it pins did not know, which stopped it with “Unknown command”.
Help count users, if you want to. The desktop app, the command line and the Claude Code plugin ask once, from the second day you use them, whether to help count how many people use Agent Standup. With a yes, they make at most one empty request a week to a counter of their own: no identifier, nothing about you or your sessions, never with DO_NOT_TRACK set. The server reads your answer from the settings file again before it sends anything, and ⚙ → All settings turns it off. The privacy policy and the READMEs say so.
Codex models named as OpenAI writes them next to the token counts (GPT-5.1 Codex Max, GPT-5 mini…), as Claude ones already were.
The Halloween pack’s line, fixed and spaced. It waited behind the offer of the real voices, so many people never saw it. It now goes first on its day, shows the cast and the price, and comes at most twice: once from 19 October (“Halloween is coming…”), once on the 30th or 31st if five days have passed. Never on your first day, never the day another ask was made, never after 31 October.
