Signed with Developer ID, notarized and stapled by Apple. Download AICollab.dmg, drag the App into Applications, and replace the previous version when upgrading.

What’s new

  • The macOS App now presents projects as long-lived Task Rooms and participants as AI colleagues, with clearer employee-facing lifecycle language.
  • A centered, dismissible getting-started card deck guides the six-step flow without covering the workspace. It can be reopened from Help and only exposes actions that are valid for the live Host state.
  • Workspace preparation now shows real per-repository progress, including cloning, waiting, completion and failure states.
  • Repair and recovery are presented as actionable cards, while unsafe or non-retryable states remain fail-closed.
  • AI colleagues can be removed through the App using the existing Host-authorized lifecycle path.
  • English and Simplified Chinese can be switched live without closing the open guide card.
  • Room readiness, resume, Start All and focus/assignment guidance now form a continuous path for both new and existing employees.

Upgrade notes

  • Install over the existing App. Existing projects, Task Rooms, Workspace state and recovery evidence are retained.
  • The bundled Host service build identity is verified during installation and App startup.
  • The canonical project source remains read-only; Scenario Workspace WIP is not disposed automatically.

Validation

  • Python suite: 502 passed.
  • macOS App suite: 59 tests, 1 skipped, 0 failures.
  • Independent unsigned macOS build: succeeded without launching the App test host.
  • Signed employee dogfood: build 16 launched as a single App instance, Host reported ready, centered guide card rendered, and live repository preparation progress rendered.
  • App and DMG: strict code-sign verification, Apple notarization/stapling, Gatekeeper acceptance and DMG checksum verification passed.
