The first release includes immutable normalization, replacement and lowercasing chains, backward UTF-16 range projection, ESM/CommonJS exports and TypeScript declarations. The core has zero runtime dependencies.

Validated with listed Unicode 16/17 fixtures, a seeded range-mapping oracle, isolated packed consumers and Chrome/Firefox/WebKit module and worker checks. Unicode behavior follows the host runtime. Source ranges are for highlighting and provenance; they are not safe-edit guarantees.
