Dory 0.4.5 fixes built-in Kubernetes amd64 workloads, Docker swap-limit support, and repeated privileged-networking approval incidents.
Highlights:
- Runs amd64 pod processes in built-in k3s through Dory's FEX-aware OCI runtime.
- Resolves public amd64-only image indexes that k3s/containerd initially rejects on Apple Silicon.
- Keeps native arm64 pods native and preserves existing k3s cluster state.
- Enables Docker and Compose memory-swap limits.
- Stops repeated NSCocoaErrorDomain Code 4099 incidents while networking approval is pending.
Upgrade note: existing built-in Kubernetes clusters need to be recreated once to adopt the new runtime contract. Export anything stored only inside the cluster, then use Disable & Remove Cluster and enable Kubernetes again. Dory never deletes an incompatible cluster automatically.
Install:
brew install --cask Augani/dory/dory
