This update introduces a clearer desktop interface and makes scan cancellation
more responsive while component-catalog requests are waiting for a response.

• New installations start with Graphite & Copper: a circular ivory Scan button,
  copper accents and larger, more readable text. Previously selected themes
  remain available and are preserved.
• Account controls sit at the right of the integrated title bar. Navigation and
  package icons now communicate their purpose more clearly.
• Updates show installed and available versions, package sources and download
  information. Select visible packages, clear your selection and see when a
  filter hides packages you have already selected.
• Monthly and annual plans use vertical cards with explicit benefits and billing
  terms. The annual plan is marked Recommended; this is not a popularity claim.
• Stop interrupts pending component-catalog headers and body reads. Results
  arriving after cancellation no longer replace the stopped scan's display.
• A transient request timeout can use the existing single retry when time remains
  in the scan budget. Cancellation never triggers a retry.
• New interface text is available in English, Italian, French, Spanish, German
  and Portuguese. Existing prices and the two-PC Pro entitlement are unchanged.

This release does not add new driver sources or claim universal coverage or a
fixed scan duration. Hardware detection, available packages and verified updates
remain distinct. Downloads require review; installation remains a separate step.

Tweaky Driver remains proprietary software. The Windows application, uninstaller
and installer are publisher-signed and timestamped. The updater additionally
verifies the detached installer signature.

This maintenance update makes driver selection clearer and reduces repeated
work during extended scans.

• Custom selection now includes a Selected view. If a search hides packages
  you have already selected, an explicit count helps you review the entire
  selection before downloading.
• Search accepts hardware IDs and device identifiers as well as driver and
  device names.
• Improved interaction styling preserves visible keyboard focus without duplicate
  outlines on mouse clicks. Account controls follow the selected color theme.
• Extended scans retain more bounded, short-lived metadata and avoid repeated
  copies and cache-budget calculations. Provider and version comparisons no
  longer allocate temporary strings or lists.
• All new interface text is available in English, Italian, French, Spanish,
  German and Portuguese.

Scan duration depends on hardware, source responses and whether recent metadata
is available. This update does not claim a fixed full-scan speed improvement or
universal driver coverage. Catalog candidates still require compatibility and
signed-package checks; package choices are not the number of devices requiring
updates. Download review and installation remain separate actions.

Tweaky Driver remains proprietary software. Windows application binaries and
the installer are publisher-signed and timestamped. The updater additionally
verifies its own detached artifact signature.

Tweaky Driver 0.1.7 improves app updates with a visible notification, immediate download feedback, bounded download requests, error details, and an interactive installer. App servicing no longer depends on a dormant PC Tweaker registration; active companions remain verified.

Validation: UI interaction tests in six languages, frontend tests, native tests, signed installer acceptance, and publisher/updater signature verification. No driver installation is part of this update.

Validation: Windows CI passed. An isolated Windows VM completed an upgrade from 0.1.2, uninstallation and a fresh installation of 0.1.6. Installed files matched all seven manifest entries, and native installation/self-trust checks passed.

Tweaky Driver 0.1.5 improves application update recovery:

• Retry a failed update check without restarting the app.
• Keep installation progress visible after the download reaches 100%.
• Show a clear installation error with retry or dismissal, in all six languages.

The proprietary Windows installer is signed and timestamped by Aurelio Avila. Its payload and updater signature were verified before publication. This patch does not expand driver-source coverage or enable additional driver installation/recovery paths. Real driver installation, restart/restoration and native paid-operation acceptance remain separate from these technical checks.

Tweaky Driver 0.1.4

Tweaky Driver 0.1.4 makes Free and Pro scanning an explicit choice. Pro members can start the extended scan from the Scan page; when a paid account has an available device seat, the app activates this PC before scanning. Free accounts are guided to Plans & Pricing when they select a Pro-only operation. Download review also checks access before proceeding.

The development launcher now waits for the actual app window rather than treating an error dialog as a successful launch.

The device inventory is not a count of available updates. Offered packages depend on the hardware, source coverage, verified compatibility, and account access. Tweaky Driver does not claim that every installed driver needs or has a newer package.

This release contains a proprietary Windows installer signed and timestamped by Aurelio Avila. The updater manifest and detached updater signature accompany the installer; no source code is distributed here.

Tweaky Driver 0.1.3

Tweaky Driver 0.1.3 clarifies what a scan actually checked. Results now identify when only standard sources were searched, and explain when Pro catalog access could not be verified. Selecting English also displays verified English names for several Microsoft inbox devices that Windows reports in Italian. The installer now handles registration repair correctly.

The device count is an inventory, not a count of compatible updates. Available downloads depend on the PC, the configured sources, Pro access, and package compatibility; this release does not claim an update for every device.

The Windows installer is signed by Aurelio Avila and timestamped. The separate updater signature is included in latest.json and the .sig file. This is proprietary software; the source repository remains private.

Tweaky Driver 0.1.2 repairs upgrades from an authenticated 0.1.1 installation whose Windows uninstall registration is missing and introduces signed in-app updates for future releases.

• Restores missing installer metadata only for the exact signed 0.1.1 payload.
• Adds automatic update checks, download progress, deferred installation, and restart handling.
• Verifies both the Authenticode publisher/timestamp and the dedicated updater signature.
• Keeps driver installation, recovery, and user data outside the application update transaction.

This maintenance update clarifies account, pricing and scan text in English, Italian, French, Spanish, German and Portuguese.

• Removes outdated “planned pricing” labels now that subscriptions are available.
• Explains that either paid plan supports up to two activated installations.
• Distinguishes reviewing a download selection from verifying driver compatibility.
• Clarifies that scanning retrieves metadata without downloading or installing driver packages.

The account service has also been updated to reject password-reset codes that expire while a password is being hashed. This server correction is already active and does not require reinstalling the desktop app. Account checks use 78 passing tests plus post-deployment synthetic registration, verification and reset/session-revocation acceptance.

Compatibility and current limits

Windows x64 and Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime are required. Close Tweaky Driver and use Exit PC Tweaker from PC Tweaker's tray menu before upgrading.

This patch does not expand driver coverage or enable disabled installation paths. Some manufacturer/catalog packages remain download-only; direct AMD/MSI installation remains disabled. Real-hardware driver installation/restart/restoration and the signed paid native/UAC acceptance remain outstanding. General automatic driver rollback is not available. Pro does not remove these limitations or guarantee an update for every device.

Tweaky Driver remains proprietary software by Aurelio Avila. Application source is private. Third-party components retain their respective licenses and included notices. GitHub source archives contain distribution documentation only.

The final Windows installer, application and uninstaller passed Aurelio Avila publisher and trusted-timestamp checks. Actual upgrade from 0.1.0 to 0.1.1 passed: all seven installed payload files matched, the existing top-level JSON state file was unchanged, and native protected-installation verification passed. The frontend build and all 274 desktop test cases passed, including a corrected version-independent packaging fixture. Native driver-operation code is unchanged by this patch.
