Lyrics fork rebased onto the latest Boring Notch (upstream v2.7.3), keeping all the scrolling-lyrics features intact. ~369 commits of upstream work merged in.

Install

1. Download BoringNotch-Lyrics-2.7.3.dmg
2. Open it, drag boringNotch to Applications
3. First launch: the app is ad-hoc signed (not notarized). If macOS blocks it, right-click the app → Open, or run:
   xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/boringNotch.app

This is the first release of the custom lyrics fork with experimental features built on top of Boring Notch.

🎹 Quick Start

1. Install the app from the DMG file below
2. Play music in Apple Music, Spotify, or YouTube Music
3. Press ⌘ Cmd + ⇧ Shift + Y to activate lyrics mode
4. Configure display modes in Settings → Appearance

📥 Installation Options

Option 1: Homebrew (Easiest - No Security Warning)

brew install AusafMo/boring-notch/boring-notch-lyrics --no-quarantine

Option 2: Download DMG
Download the DMG file from here (down below) open it, and drag to Applications.

⚠️ Security Note: This is an unsigned build. On first launch:

1. macOS will show "app from unidentified developer"
2. Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security
3. Click "Open Anyway" next to the warning
