Second preview of FOSSE. Refreshes the bundled backends and modernizes the admin surface.

What's changed since 0.1.0

  • Modernized FOSSE admin screens (#149) — refreshed look and feel for the unified admin surface.
  • Bundled wordpress-activitypub resynced to upstream trunk twice (#152, #153). Brings in tombstone reworks, blog-actor C2S admin/permission fixes, anonymous blog-actor ownership fix, webfinger proxy Accept handling, scheduler migration jitter, statistics earliest-date null guard, content-warning storage in the outbox API, the data-wp-on-async deprecation fix, and a tanstack-history pin.
  • Bundled wordpress-atmosphere resynced to upstream trunk (#152).
  • Build-zip workflow now derives the version from fosse.php and stamps it into the runtime FOSSE_VERSION constant (#147).

Still a preview release. Options, admin UI, and internal APIs may shift before 1.0.

Install

Download fosse.zip (attached below once the build workflow finishes), then in WordPress go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, activate, and walk the setup wizard.
