• The Insights verbs answer structs, encoded once. counts, top and accumulated answer the arrays their shape handlers return, and collect and generate answer { collecting, workers } and { regenerating, workers } as arrays, where each JSON-encoded its reply into a string the wire encoded again. With no live worker the two verbs refuse, throwing No live newspack-intelligence worker — start the workers first., which the reply carries as a TM_ERROR instead of a successful { error }. The dashboard's views drop the json flag, and AccumulatedPanel shows the refusal's text and reads the ack struct on success.
• Deploy with newspack-nodes 2.114.0. The Insights verbs pass their shapes to node_schema() as handlers, so this release calls no slice_verb(), which 2.114.0 removes; an older intelligence on 2.114.0 fatals on its first schema read.
