Heated Metal Manager
Features:
- Check for Heated Metal Updates/Auto update Heated Metal.
- If LumaPlay is detected in your game directory the manager will remove LumaPlay and install the new crack.
- Swap between vanilla Shadow Legacy and Heated Metal at the click of a button.
How to use:
- Create a new folder to put HeatedMetalManager.exe
- Run HeatedMetalManager.exe
- Click the Browse button and select your Shadow Legacy/Root Game folder
- If LumaPlay is installed in your game folder, you will be prompted to accept the removal. The manager will automagically install the new crack and prompt you when it is finished.
- Peep the info:
- Currently installed will check the version.txt file for the GitHub release tag that you have in your game. If you do not have a version.txt in your root game directory, it will download the latest update and create a version.txt for you. If you know what version you're on, just create your own version.txt and put the GitHub release tag in there.

- Latest Release will check the Heated Metal Releases to find the latest release of Heated Metal

- The Using label will tell you if running the game will boot Heated Metal, or vanilla Shadow Legacy
- Check for Updates/Install button will download the latest HeatedMetal.7z from the releases page and use either WinRar or 7zip (whichever you have installed) to extract into your Shadow Legacy folder.
⚠️ If your antivirus (eg. Windows Defender) tries to remove HeatedMetal.7z before it's done downloading/extracting, you will be prompted to run a powershell command which will add an exclusion to the folder while the download/extraction process is ongoing, this exclusion will be automatically removed once the process is finished!⚠️

- Button to Backup maps/quirrel scripts (will be copied to Backups folder next to the HeatedMetalManager.exe)
Create/Swap settings profiles
- Create New Profile button && Profile Select dropdown with Swap To Profile button.
- So you can have different settings for Heated Metal and Vanilla if you want.
