Fixed

  • Fix high CPU usage from trimming the log file on nearly every write. Once the log exceeds its maximum size, it's now trimmed once to 75% of that size in a single linear pass and written back in one atomic write.
  • Drop blank lines, legacy HTML sessions and empty system records first when trimming, so the log keeps more recent structured history. Session metadata is preserved for the oldest kept records.
  • Skip empty stdout/stderr lines and write all lines of a captured output chunk as a single append.

Changed

  • Increase the maximum log size from 2 MB to 3 MB.
  • Already-oversized log files are trimmed on the first write after launching with this version. Legacy HTML history from before 7.0 is dropped at that point.

See #216.
